Privacy is of the utmost importance to Start With A Date.  Your personal details will not be given to anyone except with your express consent to divulge your contact details to your matches after an event.  (A match being when both parties have indicated that they would like to/or may like to have further contact with each other.)  Contact details are not given to people with whom you did not have a match.

When registering for a Start With A Date event, you will be asked to provide personal information such as your name, telephone number, mailing address, age and gender.  This information is confidential and will be stored in our secure database.  We will use this information only to facilitate your experience with our website, and to contact you if necessary.  We will not sell or provide any of this information to organizations that may be interested in making unsolicited contacts, and we will not disclose it to any third party except as may be required by law.

Your e-mail address will also be stored in our secure database.  We will provide your e-mail address to individuals with whom you match.  We may also use this address to contact you with announcements and information regarding an event for which you have registered and/or future events.  If you choose not to receive information about future events via your e-mail address, you may opt out of receiving such communications by updating your profile and removing the check mark in the box indicating you want to receive e-mail.

When registering for a Start With A Date event, you will be asked to provide billing information such as your credit card number, expiration date, and billing address.  The server that your credit card number and expiration date is collected on uses encryption technology to protect the information while in transit, via the Internet, to Authorize.net servers.  Start With A Date, LLP uses a third party certified Merchant Bank for card processing.
